Here you will find living silver craft and music traditions. In the countryside or at exhibitions, you will see minerals from “the beginning of time”. Iron production in the Viking Age, building styles, art and handicraft are some of the things exhibited in the valley’s museums. The landscape varies from flat countryside to wild and beautiful mountains. The highway passes through several villages; round every curve new visual impressions await you. You can stop and enjoy the scenery and the tranquillity. Alternate between peaceful days when you unwind and, perhaps, take a swim, and active days when you go rafting in foaming rapids. Enjoy the wonderful hiking terrain and the numerous other attractions of the valley.
